Check out how Alpha Xi sisters made a difference in 2019!

2019 Online Auction to Benefit RMHC Endowment Fund

  • Successfully raised over $620 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment Fund of the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation

  • The alumnae association that donates the most throughout the year to the Foundation gets a seat on the Endowment Fund Committee. This year, Bridgette Roman represents the Alpha Xi Chapter Alumnae Association on the committee!

2019 Week of Service

  • Alpha Xi adopted Love in the Language of Yarn (LILY), an organization in Turkey that helps Syrian refugee children

  • We collected $500 to purchase books and school supplies and to cover shipping

  • Sisters knitted and crocheted over 400 blanket squares which were made into warm blankets by volunteers at LILY

2019 Awards

  • Alpha XI was greatly honored to received the Alumnae Association Excellence in Philanthropy Award from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation for the second time! Well done, sisters!

2019 RMH Donations

  • Alpha Xi sisters from Colorado to Virginia made fleece blankets that were donated to the RMH of Central Ohio to be placed in the welcome bags that residents receive. A total of 15 blankets went to the house!

The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation was created by sisters, for sisters. The Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) separate from the sorority that supports education, leadership, and service.

Most recently, a Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment has been established at the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. This fund allows any Ronald McDonald House throughout the world to apply directly for grants from the Foundation, allowing us to support houses or family rooms being built or renovated, as well houses that do not have ADPi chapters or alumnae associations nearby supporting them.

Keeping Families Close

Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has been committed to serving Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Over the course of our partnership, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed more than $5 million to this worthwhile cause. RMHC supports Ronald McDonald Houses, Care Mobiles, and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in local communities and also funds grants to other nonprofit organizations whose programs focus on children in need.
