Are you affiliated with Alpha Xi through bonds of love and friendship and continue to be an ADPi in good standing? Then you are eligible to join the Alpha Xi Chapter Alumnae Association! A chapter association is different from a local one. We live all over the world and maintain our buckeye sisterhood bonds. Membership for new graduates is free the first year after graduation. Over 80 years old?  Your membership is free, always! Just let us know you're interested!  We won't sign you up without your permission.

WHY JOIN?

​

Our association has an impact across the spectrum of sisterhood both with the international organization and our Alpha Xi sisterhood.

What we do:

• Engage sisters across the world with a virtual medium.  Membership is consistently around seventy-five members.

• Provide monthly opportunities for sisters to gather virtually.

• Plan in-person reunions including the 2024 reunion celebration.  Members receive a discount on registration.

• Support the active sisters of the Eta Eta (SD School of Mines) Chapter with cards sent to encourage and celebrate, provide goody bags, sponsor pizza study breaks.

• Maintain a good working relationship with the Panhellenic community at Ohio State by sending handwritten notes to every sorority prior to recruitment, sponsoring breaks for recruitment guides, providing volunteers to enter formal recruitment preferences in the computers.  We stay poised to support recolonization should the opportunity arise.

• Raise funds for the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation RMHC Endowment fund.  The Alpha Xi AA has raised more than any other alumnae association in 4 of the last 5 years.  Two Alpha Xi AA members currently sit on the Foundation's RMHC Endowment Committee.

• Participate in ADPi's Week of Service with projects that collect knitted/crocheted squares to make blankets and other knitted items for displaced persons in Syrian refugee camps and Afghanis relocated to the United States in upstate New York.  Donations purchase education and hygiene supplies for women and children in the camps.

• Donate a portion of dues and hold fundraisers for the Foundation's Clasped Hands Fund.  We have donated nearly $6,500 to date.

• Placed 5 Alpha Xi AA members in Alumnae Panhellenic Associations across the U.S.  Will facilitate additional sisters who wish to be involved.

• Send handwritten notes to sisters experiencing loss, hardships, and celebrating life events.

• Provide Ceremonies that celebrate years of membership and Jewel Degree Ritual.

• Sponsor alumna initiates who attended The Ohio State University.
