Total Membership Education
When we came to The Ohio State University, it was in pursuit of an education. We believe education is a lifelong process. It behooves our alumnae to learn about the issues facing our collegian members in addition to furthering our own pursuits for knowledge.
This page is one way we can provide pertinent educational materials.

Alpha Delta Pi was the first sorority to take an official stance against the hazing of its members. However, the definitions of what constitutes hazing have changed over the years. Often, alumnae think, "We did that and I didn't think anything of it." In the next few months, we will develop a specific educational program for alumnae to better equip them to serve as advisors, mentors and positive role models for our alpha and delta members. We have never tolerated overt hazing but must become more adept at identifying more subtle forms of hazing behaviors. The expectation is that every Alpha Delta Pi feel she is a valued member surrounded by supportive and loving sisters.
Consent:
Must be voluntary and cannot be compelled by coercion, force, threat or deception.
Are you ready to have the difficult conversation?
Alpha Delta Pi is working steadfastly to help our alpha and delta members better understand what it means to consent to sexual relations, what sexual misconduct means, how to engage in by-stander intervention to protect sisters and their rights under Title IX when in a sexual assault situation.
Alpha Delta Pi is the first Panhellenic organization to partner with the Fraternal Health and Safety Initiative to deliver a specific training program to all collegian members.
